Are you ready to make your taste buds tingle with delight? Give familiar foods new flare? Dare to try unfamiliar fruits and veggies? Let’s take a fantastical food adventure together — let’s “eat the rainbow”! We will follow in the footsteps of ROY G BIV as we explore fruits and vegetables that include the full spectrum of colors, shapes, textures, and tastes. Your “Adventure Guide,” Dawn Marie, will provide resources and encouragement to help you along the way. All you need to get started is a wholehearted sense of adventure.

Adventure Overview

On Fridays, you’ll gain access to a weekly Eat the Rainbow “Guidebook” which introduces the fruits/veggies for the next week. This gives you time to gather your provisions over the weekend. Starting each Monday, we’ll explore (and eat!) fruits/veggies in a particular color group for a few days. Look out for Eat the Rainbow “Guideposts” with how-to’s, fun facts, tips, incentives, and more. Be prepared for detours and bumps in the road, but know you can depend on your Adventure Guide (and Group) to help you stay the course. As Adventurers, you’re required strongly encouraged to share photos, captions, and recipes to inspire your fellow travelers.

Getting Ready

  • Join the Art of Wholehearted Living FB Group (for “Guideposts” and sharing).
  • Read the first Eat the Rainbow “Guidebook.”
  • Buy a bunch of vibrant veggies and fruit.
  • Eat the rainbow!

Enjoying the Journey

  • Choose some fruits/veggies you know you like AND some new ones.
  • Stay inspired by checking the “Guidebooks” and “Guideposts” and connecting with your fellow Adventurers!
  • Ask for help if you need it.

After Your Adventure

  • Celebrate your success!
  • Share your experience with others!
  • And, keep eating the rainbow!

  • Eat the Rainbow “Guidebooks” — Prepare for your adventures with weekly guides that include the fruit and veggie color(s) for the coming week, background info, tips, recipes, and items to add to your grocery list.
  • Eat the Rainbow “Guideposts” — Stay on track with the help of social media posts including infographics, photos, and videos.
  • Group Support — Gain insights, inspiration, and encouragement from fellow adventurers.
  • Adventure Guide —  Dawn Marie, a board-certified health & wellness coach, will be available in the Art of Wholehearted Living FB Group to answer your questions and cheer you on!
